Following an invitation from the Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF), the Chair of the European Group of Policing Football and NFIP Experts – Mr. Adrian Dincă, attended the CAF National Security and Security Officers Symposium which took place between 29 – 31 October 2024 in Cairo, Egypt.
The training event brought together 54 National Safety and Security Officers from all CAF Member Associations, along with guests from FIFA, UEFA, and the German Football Federation with the aim to equip all participants with modern perspectives on the management and implementation of safety and security of football matches within their associations. This was an excellent opportunity to promote the concept and work of the NFIP network and create the foundation for further cooperation in this regard.
