2026 FIFA World Cup Workshop

Writer: NFIP NetworkNFIP Network

The NFIP Network Chair, Adrian Dinca, and Vice-Chair Adrian Roberts, along with Chief Constable Mark Roberts (UK Football Policing Lead), attended the 1st Safety and Security Workshop dedicated to the 2026 FIFA World Cup Canada, Mexico, and the USA, which took place in Atlanta from the 8th to the 10th of October 2024.

The event reunited 200 host city representatives from all three organizing countries, as well as FIFA and UEFA experts on safety and security and Football Supporters Europe (FSE). This was a great opportunity to present to the audience the NFIP and International Police Cooperation Center (IPCC) concepts, as well as the UK football policing system and set the groundwork for future cooperation with the local law enforcement authorities regarding information exchange and operational support in connection with the FIFA 2026 World Cup and the 2025 Clubs World Cup USA.
